Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Incredible, but the truth is that God not only considered me His friend because of Christ’s blood, but now because of His resurrected life He is saving me from the power of sin.

Rom 5:9 Having been made right with God through the blood of Christ, how much more sure is our rescue from destruction now that He has reclaimed us as His own? Rom 5:9 But there is more! Now that God has accepted us because Christ sacrificed his life's blood, we will also be kept safe from God's anger. Rom 5:9 Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God) by Christ’s blood, how much more we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God. Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Through the merits of Christ’s blood, He has now declared me justified, even considers me righteous-through that blood, and I’m spared from God’s wrathful judgment. Rom 5:8 But God showed His love for us while we were still sinners-His natural enemies-by giving His Son to die for us.ġ Jn 3:16 We know how much God loves us because He sent His Son to die for us therefore, we ought to be willing to die for our brothers and sisters. That's why we must give our lives for each other. Rom 5:8 But God showed how much he loved us by having Christ die for us, even though we were sinful.ġ Jn 3:16 We know what love is because Jesus gave his life for us.

Rom 5:8 But God shows and clearly proves His love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.ġ Jn 3:16 By this we come to know (progressively to recognize, to perceive, to understand) the love: that He laid down His life for us and we ought to lay lives down for brothers. Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.ġ Jn 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. God took the initiative toward us by demonstrating His love before we even had any thoughts of friendship with Him-He, in the person of Jesus Christ, His own Son, died our death for us that we could be reconciled to Himself.
